Hyper4Rail research results published in German rail trade journal Eisenbahntechnische Rundschau (ETR)

The article presents findings on the integration of hyperloop into Europe’s rail network and assesses the potential demand and economic viability of a European hyperloop network.

Research results from the Hyper4Rail project have been published in the July/August 2026 issue of ETR – Eisenbahntechnische Rundschau, a German trade journal for the rail sector.

The article “Hyperloop in Europa: Netzwerkperspektive und Wirtschaftlichkeit” by Mars Geuze presents results from Hyper4Rail’s work on a potential European hyperloop network. The study examines how hyperloop could complement high-speed rail, particularly on routes longer than 800 kilometres where air travel currently dominates.
