Hyper4Rail Consortium Hosts “Advancing Rail” Event in Amsterdam

On October 14, the Hyper4Rail consortium organized an event in Amsterdam under the title "Advancing rail: Hyperloop design and feasibility in Europe."

The session featured a presentation on Hyper4Rail and a panel discussion that engaged a hybrid audience of rail sector and hyperloop representatives.

Participants examined the primary role and possible outcomes for hyperloop in Europe, including its potential to address connectivity and greener transport.

The panel also discussed the key challenges to deployment around funding, regulations, and technology, and explored timescales and approaches for implementation in Europe. The discussion provided insights for a hyperloop implementation roadmap and guides the next stages of the Hyper4Rail research project.
